September 25th & 26th
Handi Quilter Educator Tina Harris will be hosting a 2-day workshop $245 to discover all the possibilities of longarm quilting for those who don’t own and anyone wanting to discover the possibilities with quilting, stitching thread on fabric.
September 27th
For computer artist, quilters that want to finish quilts fast, those that like to embellish with embroidery or digital designs come spend the day with Tina. She will show the possibilities of robotic quilting and digital design and then in the afternoon talking story about how to quilt your quilts within your skill set.
September 28th
Mandala Workshop – learn how to create circular designs. Including how to work within the quilting space on longarm frames. The trick on how to fill in sections to create texture and make each mandala unique one of a kind. This class is for all quilters regardless of what machine you use.
Tina Harris
Tina Harris, a Texas native, has been passionate about sewing and quilting since she was 7 years old. Over the past 30+ years, she has crafted beautiful quilts and keepsakes, honing her skills in longarming, embroidery, and machine applique. Many pieces of her work have hung in museums and exhibits throughout the country.
Tina is more than just a quilter. She’s a proud Texas A&M University graduate with over 25 years of experience in education and entrepreneurship. She’s made a signi cant impact on hundreds of lives through her teaching in public schools, private schools, and in corporate America.
Currently, Tina enjoys working with rulers and Pro-Stitcher designs while sharing her love for quilting to all who will listen.
In her personal life, she holds dear a quilt named “Be Strong and Courageous,” which beautifully captures her story through embroidered quotes from her late mother, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers, all of whom were accomplished seamstresses. Tina’s passion, expertise, and creativity would surely make your next event a memorable one.
