Sewcial Club — Honolulu Sewing & Quilting Community
Hosted at Nelwyn’s Community Center

The Sewcial Club is a long-standing Honolulu sewing group filled with talent, tradition, and aloha. Nelwyn graciously schedules her community center to give us a welcoming place to meet, learn, and enjoy the company of other creative makers.
This club has a special place in my heart. I first joined this group in 2017 — the very first club I attended after retiring from the military. We originally met as part of the Bernina Club, and when that club ended, we kept the tradition alive in a new location. The friendships, conversations, and shared passion for sewing have continued ever since.
Now, the Sewcial ladies are opening their doors to you — new sewers, new quilters, and anyone who wants to learn or be part of a creative community.

This is a space where knowledge flows freely. You’ll find expertise in:
garment sewing
bag making
home décor
quilting
and all the projects in between

Bring something for show and tell, ask questions about the projects you’re working on, get advice, or simply come to meet new, creative, like-minded people. Every meeting is filled with camaraderie, storytelling, laughter, and learning.
