Make a Runner Class

This will be a more of Mystery Runner class. Sorry that I don’t have the time to post the project each month. Come see what we are making. I promise if you are familiar with the block that you will still learn something about various options in creating a runner layout that you will be able to use with other projects. You will also learn about ideas on how to quilt it.  Try one class and I guarantee you will be hooked for future classes.

Each month this class will have a new block to learn. By creating a runner you will be able to finish the project each month. Barb’s style of quilting is to show samples and provide instruction on how to make a block or pattern. We will discuss several ways of how the block can be used in various layouts.  Last year we explored 3 yard quilts, applique, and the Dresden plate. This year we will work purposefully to build our piecing and artistic skills.

This class includes a practice kit of fabric for you to make a block and get backing fabric and batting scraps for you to practice quilting and help you build skills.

We will be meeting on federal or state holidays throughout the year.
