HSFAG – Guest Speaker on Thread

I’m so excited and honored to be speaking at the Hawaii Stitchery and Fiber Arts Guild in October.  I have re-stocked my threads and have some brand new products I will be showcasing.  With only 30 mins to talk about my second fabric thing, (longarm quilting my first) I decided to focus on 12wt thread, sashiko thread. Not to say I wont be mentioning the beautifully strong 60 wt thread for applique, or the polyester threads with incredible shiny beauty but 12wt is perfect for our holiday parties. It is not just a cotton white for sashiko it comes in wrapped metallic, bright colors and variegated colors.
